Pin Tweaks captures David Lynch in an electronic wave

Their inspiration become apparent from the very first second you lay eyes or ears on the newfound electronic duo, Pin Tweaks. As Com Truise before them, musicians Aman and Johnny, looks to David Lynch and his cult favourite television show, Twin Peaks, in a playful – if somewhat absurd – spoonerism to find their name.

Late last month (July) they released their first single “Girl on The Wire”, and in their shared love for Lynch, they have managed to capture the footprints of the brilliant filmmaker within a room of light – but spontaneous – electronica. Dark and eery, yet playful and accompanied by two soft-spoken vocals throughout.

As soon as someone takes inspiration from Twin Peaks – or David Lynch for that matter – you can bet they have an audience, but to actually impress said audience is not as easy. Pin Tweaks has impressed with their debut single, and we look forward to follow them into the black lodge and beyond.
